While on the subject of pets, please remember your local pet rescue organizations during this holiday season. So many people have lost their homes and faced the impossible decision of having to relinquish their cherished pets. May be you can find it in your heart to either assist your local animal welfare organization, or private rescue groups, with donations of food, blankets, money, etc., or OPEN YOUR HEARTS REEEEALLY WIDE and open your home and heart to a new four-legged member of the family by adopting or fostering a pet in desperate need.
